We are offering two models of bownet remote triggers.
  • 300 feet line-of-sight maximum range.
  • 1,000 feet line-of-sight maximum range.
These remote control triggers are designed specifically for raptor/hawk trapping (click = on, release = off). It's typically used to remotely release or trip a bownet trap. Get rid of all that tangle mess of trapline and most importantly, no more missing the chance to trap those nice birds because you accidentally pull the triggerline instead of the lureline causing a premature released of the trap!

If you are a researcher/biologist, these bownet remote triggers will allow you to set up bownets at nesting sites with minimal disturbances to the birds.

This remote trigger system doesn't use the Bulky transmitter which is normally associated with r/c toys that requires both hands to operate. This system uses a transmitter that's the same size as a regular vehicle remote access fob, which can fit nicely in your pants pocket and just as easy to operate with one hand.

It can also easily be modified as a remote for bird launcher similar to this expensive bird launcher for dog training or hawking and falconry training. You may also paint it with spray paint to match your terrain.

Please let me know if you are interested in coverting this unit to a bird launcher remote and I will give you some hints on how to mount it.
